Design Brief:
In this project I am going to design a record album cover for Kansas. The front cover will be based around the song "Dust in the Wind." The album will be a gate-fold cover. It will be designed with a Swiss/Bauhaus influence, with simple, geometrical shapes, and san-serif type. My design will be created on a grid. My design will show a Hierarchal Composition with Dominant, Subdominant, and Subordinate qualities. The size of the album cover will be 12"x12"

The goal for this poster is to take the item we used in the object poster and now make a process poster for it. The new poster is intended to show the functionality of the object. My object is a trailer, so I want to show what trailers do best, which is to sit in a vacant area allowing people to get away and relax. The poster will be 11 x 17.

Trailers are away of escape. They are a means to get away and leave. They allow a person
to gain or regain liberty. They will take you away from where you are while still allowing you
to be in a comfortable home-like setting. They bring enjoyment.

The goal of this project is to choose an object (place, thing, or an event) and create a 11 x 17 poster. This object is to be made flat and have simple shapes. The poster needs to have one word on it that is connotative to the image.
